Lamb and Feta Spaghetti and Meatballs
After the success of our Mozzarella Stuffed Meatball Sliders, we wanted to stuff more cheese into meatballs. We decided feta in lamb meatballs was the perfect combination. We used the same basic recipe used for the meatballs in the sliders, just switching feta for mozzarella and ground lamb for beef.
These meatballs weren’t quite as exciting because the pieces of feta were much smaller than the mozzarella pieces, so you couldn’t break them open and see the awesome, melty, cheesy, middle. But the taste was excellent. Serve over some spaghetti with marinara sauce, and you have a fun twist of classic spaghetti and meatballs! Or make sliders, but I don’t think those mozzarella ones can be topped!
