"Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough" Sandwich

Not only does Peanut Butter and Co. make some delicious, unique peanut butter flavors, they also have a sandwich shop in New York City where they will make you fancy peanut butter sandwiches. One on their menu is called "Cookie Dough Surprise," which sounds right up my alley. It's a combination of peanut butter, vanilla cream cheese and chocolate chips, and according to the shop, it tastes just like cookie dough. I don't know if I'd quite go that far, but it was pretty tasty.

I put some peanut butter on one side of whole wheat bread, mixed a tad of vanilla extract with reduced fat cream cheese and spread it on the other, and then sprinkled some chocolate chips on top. I placed the sandwich in the toaster oven, and next thing I know I'm eating a "cookie dough sandwich." I'm not sure I'd use the words cookie dough to describe it, but I don't have a better name and it's definitely worth a try if you are looking for a twist on a peanut butter sandwich.
